Financial Assistance

Financial assistance offered by the Ministry of Education and the School Advisory Committee is available to needy students who meet the eligibility criteria stated for the different schemes. Forms can be obtained from the general office at the stipulated periods of time.

• The application period is through the year for youth centres and family service centres. The application period in schools is only from September to November each year.

NEU PC Plus Programme PC-Bundle Eligibility Criteria – School going children
  • The application is open to Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
  • Full-time student in a Government school
  • Gross household income not exceeding $3,400 a month or the family per capita income (PCI) does not exceed $900 per month
  • The application is open to Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
  • Full-time student in a Government school.
  • Gross monthly household income must not exceed $3,400 OR the per capita income* of the family per capita income (PCI) must not exceed $900.
  • Past recipient of a PC bundle under the NEU PC Plus Programme may reapply only after a lapse of three (3) years from last deployment to the household.
  • Each eligible household can only apply for one (1) computer regardless of the total number of school-going children and/or household members who have permanent disability.
